Here are the key questions to ask yourself "on day one" of writing your proposal.
Do I know what the funder is really buying in the market place?
Is it fighting racism, increasing literacy rates in poor areas, or supporting artists?
What change do they want?
Less discrimination in the workplace, higher reading rates or new emerging artists?
Next do I have a clear picture in mind of the change I want to make?
What does success look like to me?
Finally does my picture of success match the funder's picture?
